Match report Takeley skipper won the toss and decided to bowl. Takeley got off to a brilliant start with Trev and Callum bowling tight and Callum taking the wicket of one of the opening batsmen. once their spells were over we needed to get few overs out of a bowler so the skipper looked at Maisey, as he bowled well the week before, but this week he struggled to keep the ball on the strip we were playing on. He was immediately taken off and the skipper, then for some reason, listened to Jarvo to allow Harry Wright to bowl who believes he can spin it both ways. Everyone was laughing and couldn't believe it was happening. He bowled his first ball and the opening batsmen, who looked like he was going to score a lot of runs, came down the wicket to hit harry over cow corner, but the ball was met by the skippers hands. Harry went on to bowl the spell of the game. Also a mention to Trev for keeping the runs to a minimum and Callum's 3 wickets.

Takeley went into bat and did not get off to a good start as they lost 3 quick wickets and only had 25 runs on the board. This then brought Harry Wright to the crease with Jay Maisey. They knew they had a lot of work to do and they stepped up to the mark and both batted amazingly to both get an unbeaten half century and to go onto win the game. Good work lads.
