Match report We started off as the disadvantaged team as we only had 10 men due to a last minute pull out. The skipper won the toss again and put his team into bat. Jay Maisey started the innings off well until he got a thin edge caught behind. After this, Wickets kept on falling with everyone chipping in with runs here and there for Takeley to finish on what was thought to be a score not enough.

Takeley went out to try and defend their total knowing it was going to require some brilliant bowling and fielding due to being a man short. Ash salmon started off brilliantly taking a wicket with his 3rd ball. The skipper mixed the bowling up so that the batsmen did not get used to the bowling. Tom Nash came on to bowl and seemed to be one of his best bowling spells he has bowled taking two wickets; but the man who grabbed the main highlights for the game was Jack Connolly. He was Takeley's 6th change bowler who come on and took 6 wickets and only went for 19 runs off his 8.2 overs to win the game for Takeley.

Brilliant effort lads especially jack. Keep this up and put the same effort into the next game.
