Match report Skipper lost the toss again but luckily the home skipper put Takeley into bat. Takeley got off to a brilliant start on a wicket what is not easy to bat on with some good scores from jay Harry rob Pete, but the man who deserves the mention is Dave Gunn. Drops down the batting order to 4 and comes in and gets a well deserved half ton not out. We then lose a couple of quick wickets to see Jarvo come in with Dave to knock off the last overs to get Takeley to a good total.

Takeley set the field and the opening bowlers didn't find it to easy to bowl on and ilford got off to a comfortable start, but jack and Jarvo came on to bowl and the run rate for ilford was slowly increasing. Jarvo came off to save himself some overs so on came pie chucker Maisey who also bowled an amazing spell getting a couple of wickets. With these bowlers keeping it tight. Ilford couldn't get near the total they needed.

Just want to make one last mention to matty yeoman. Very talented young player who made his debut in the senior team. Brilliant performance in the field and looked a very good bowler taking a wicket. Looking forward to seeing matty in the team in a year or two.
