Match report Takeley lost the toss and were put into bat. They got of to a steady start until Rob Harrington give Jay Maisey out lbw to protect his average. This brought the skipper to the crease who come in and punished the bad bowls scoring 26 runs of 2 overs and going on to score a half century. He was soon out after this playing a silly shot. Takeley then lost a couple more wickets to bring Pete knight into bat. This led Dave Gunn to get His century and what a brilliant batting performance it was. After Dave got out for 109, wickets fell quickly which left Pete on 37 not out.

Takeley had to get the overs in quick knowing that Amrit had to leave early, so the skipper and vice skipper decided that they would open with Amrit and what a brilliant choice it was with him taking 3 wickets from 2 overs and with the vice skipper bowling the other end they kept it tight. After the two openers spells, whethersfield were 40 odd for 5 after 20 overs. This brought Ash Salmon and Rob on to bowl who bowled 2 overs each to finish the game early.

What an amazing game it was and a well deserved win!!!!!!
