Match report Takeley lost the toss and surprisingly High beach skipper decided to field first even though they only had 7 players with 4 players stuck in traffic which included 2 opening bowlers.

The opening 2 batsmen for Takeley got of to a steady start until Maisey decided not to run which resulted in Dave Gunn getting run out. This brought Rob Harrington to the crease and Jay and Rob both went on to get half centureis, but getting out shortly after. Harry wright and Trev both got a few runs to get Takeley to a total of 173. The innings was reduced to 33 overs due to rain stop play. This was a good score to defend but Takeley knew they had to bowl well.

Trev and Callum opened the bowling and got off to a great start with Trev taking the first wicket. This then brought the skipper to thee crease for high beach who got of to a steady start and took control for them. He went on to get his half century, but then went to cut the ball off of Rob 'Shamoo' Harringtons bowling and was caught. The batsmen was as shocked as everyone else as it was Maisey who caught the ball in the slips. Rob Harrington went on to Take another 3 wickets to finish on 4-6 off 2.3 overs and was the stand out bowler.
