Match report Takeley started the game off by batting. The top order all had a shocker and takeley were 47-4 at one stage. This then brought rob Harrington to the wicket and batted strongly with Tim Connolly showing his experience and both put a strong partnership on. Rob went on to get 59 before getting caught. This then brought Jarvo to the crease and he carried on scoring runs with Tim. Takeley got 177 from their 45 overs and this score was well below average

Takeley knew they had to bowl tight and take early wickets. First wicket came early in the second over when the skipper took an outrageous catch behind with the gloves and this got the wickets flowing with maisey also taking a great catch at first slip. Even though trev gunn might not of taken a wicket he totally deserves a mention. Bowling 10 overs, 7 maidens and only going for 6 runs. Absolutely unreal bowling performance. Jarvo came on from the trev gunn end and skittled wickets and finished off with a fiver. Which trev was really happy with hahaha. Carl Mitchell also bowled an amazing 10 over spell taking a couple of wickets. How could we not mention pie chucker robbo coming on at the end and only needing 3 balls to take the last wicket.

When umpiring and the opponents start laughing at our score when we weren't doing great but still managed to bowl them all out for 70 proves that takeley are a strong team and play well together to win games and can defend low totals
