Match report Takeley went into the field first and found it hard to take wickets with sawbridgeworth always looking comfortable at the crease. After their 45 overs they scored 225 which is normally under a par score for a Takeley wicket.

Takeley went out to bat and got off to a slow start and the run rate was increasing by the over. Dave Gunn got his half century but lost his wicket shortly after. With jay and Sid both scoring 30 the rest of the batsmen struggled due to the pressure of the run rate.
