Match report Due to bad weather coming, the game was reduced to 20 overs a side so that a result was met. Takeley fielded first and kept ilford scoring to a minimum and they only ended up getting 119. Pick of the bowlers was jack Connolly with 3-8 off his 3 overs and even though he didn't take a wicket, Joseph bowled well at the start to keep the runs down. Can't go without mentioning Amrits run out from fine leg. Talking to the injured skipper on the boundary with an ice pack on his finger when everyone shouted to Amrit, who then chucked the ice pack, ran in and threw the ball to the opposite end and somehow curled the ball round the batsmen to hit the off stump. Unbelievable throw.

Takeley went out to bat and what looked like they were playing a test game not 20/20. After 8 overs takeley were 17-2 and needed 103 to win off 12 overs. Another wicket fell and brought Joesph Pierre to the crease for his debut game. He went on to smash an unbeaten 68 runs and showed robbo how it was done who went on to hit a couple of big shots to finish on 36 not out. Takeley won the game with 4.2 overs spare. Meaning the two lads scored 103 runs off 46 balls.
